Main Differences from 4th Generation

The big difference is the Comic Sans font for 5th Generation Tags.

On 4th Generation Beanies, the style number is listed next to the Beanie’s name. On 5th Generation versions, there are no style numbers printed on the front of the hang tag.

On the back of the tag, the website www.ty.com is now prominently displayed.

📅 Timeline: The 5th Generation was introduced in late 1997 and continued into 1998.
💰 Value Note: Most Beanie Babies with 5th Generation and later hang tags are worth less than $5 due to mass production. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Generation tags are the most valuable.

  1. Does ANYONE know how or where to get beanies appraised? Or even their round about worth? I have A LOT of them and, unfortunately due to my sister passing (whom myself & my teenage daughter lived with) we are now getting locked out on Jan 16th and the state will only put us in a homeless shelter in one of the top 3 shmurder capitols of the US. I’m trying to see how much these are all worth in hopes I can sell fast enough to pay the money I need for us to stay where we live. Any info or tips PLEASE help me.
