Tags are critical: The Tags play a major role in determining the value of Beanie Babies. Not only do they identify the toy, but the condition of the tag will also factor into the value. Beanie Babies with no Hang/Swing Tag will not be worth as much as one that still has the tags attached.

I have a Millennium Beanie Baby that has two tush tags on it, one is the normal one with the TY loop tag on it and the other is a white tag sewn in alon with the normal tag. It has a number on it 2086484 along with information stating that it is made of new materials and not to be removed etc. I know it is not a imposter because I bought it from the gift shop I worked in and I ordered and received the babies directly from the TY company myself. I have not seen any others with the two tags, is this something special? Does it make it worth more?

I have several hundred beanies in containers. We purchased them all ourselves at stores and have been in the containers since purchase (at least 10-16 years!). Recently going through and we have 10 Valentinos (most w/ the rarest tags) several Princess’s and even a Squealer and Legs. We moved to Australia 8 years ago and they are here.
