I have a unicorn and it has the tag and date 1993. How do I find out what’s worth if anything.

Need to know the name and which tags it has.

I have a Mellenium bear. But mellennium is mispelled as melenium on the swing tag. Gosport is mispelled as Gasport on the swing tag. Also stam missing from the inside of the tush tag. Is it worth much more?

I have a Mystic with a yarn mane instead of the fur, any difference in value?

I have several versions of Mystic, only because I collect unicorns and Mom collected beanies. She used to research values and trade sometimes. I have always been told fine yarn mane and brown horn is most valuable.

Who wrote this article? Do some research before spreading bullshit. The Princess Diana bear is worth a shit ton of money, I have 3 beanies that according to you are wor through nothing more than a measly dollar, when they sell for over a grand on ebay and other sites. When pawn shops buy your items, they look at eBay and see what they are going for. The majority of beanies go for hundreds of dollars. Not a couple dollars. This article is stupid.

MOST sellers on ebay are MISINFORMED. They try to fool buyers that arent knowledgeable on the differences and worth so they can steal their money. Dirty people all over ebay, etsy and all other websites for selling worthless beanie babies for extremely high prices. Why do you think all of their listings are all still on there? Their just waiting for an uneducated, wealthy buyer to walk by, THATS IT. The beanie babies that have value are the ones with the black and white tush tag and the one sided ‘ty’ hangtag that does not flip open like a book. Period. That means it is a first generation beanie baby. The 2nd and 3rd generations have the flip open like a book hang tag and red and white tush tags. Tush tags with a heart and ‘ty’ in the middle of the heart have a little bit more value than the 4th generations (and on) with the hang tag and tush tags with the yellow star on it. 2nd and 3rd generation tush tags do not have the beanie babies name on it and 2nd and 3rd generation swing/hang tags have “To: and From:” on the right side and have no poem. Basically beanie babies with the poem and the yellow star on their hang tags are worth no more than $3.00.

I just went through my collection of beanies, and all are 5th generation tags, I believe 6th gen tush. I noticed one that is a brown monkey, but the tush tag says his name is Mystic. Was this one mislabeled? Any value?

I have a whole tub of all brand new authentic beanie babies with tag protectors bought when I was a baby ranging from early 90’s to the 2000’s. I want to sell them but I don’t know where to start.

I have a Millenium bear with a spelling error on the tush tag….it’s spelled with two “n’s”. Does that increase it’s value/

Reply
    Love My Beanies - 16 October, 2014

Maybe slightly, but there are a lot of fake ones out there and without knowing the history of the one you have it would be hard to tell the value.
